Keely Weiss is a writer, filmmaker, and JD candidate at the UCLA School of Law. She was formerly the Features Editor at Harper’s BAZAAR. As a freelance writer, Keely has written for Interview, Nylon, LA Weekly, and elsewhere. Her short films have screened at film festivals all over the world, including Outfest and BFI Flare. Her newest short film, DO YOU NEED A RIDE, is forthcoming.

With regards to her legal studies, Keely maintains a particular interest in employment, copyright, and entertainment law. She maintains a newsletter called Books I’ve actually made time for in law school.
